About NTX Renegades baseball

NTX Renegades Baseball is built on teamwork, player development, and a genuine love of the game.

We currently participate in VASA/MBSA recreational youth baseball and are committed to creating a positive, intentional environment where young athletes can build confidence, develop their skills, and grow as teammates.

We believe baseball teaches far more than the fundamentals of the game. It helps players develop communication, resilience, leadership, self-belief, composure, and the ability to learn through both success and adversity.

Every practice, game, and interaction is guided by a simple goal: helping players enjoy the game, continue improving, and become confident, coachable teammates—on and off the field.

the foundation

Our values help guide our practices, games, communication, and overall team culture.

Love of the game

We want players to enjoy competing, learning, improving, and being part of a team environment. Baseball should be challenging, meaningful, and fun.

teamwork

We believe strong teams are built through encouragement, communication, accountability, and showing up for one another.

coachability

Growth requires players to listen, learn, adjust, ask questions, and remain open to instruction over time. We encourage players to build confidence while continuing to grow through the process.

STRONG BASEBALL MINDS

We want players to develop confidence, self-belief, focus, awareness, communication, composure, and situational understanding. Mindset and baseball IQ matter just as much as physical ability.

our approach

Our goal is to co-create an environment with families where players feel challenged, supported, and excited to keep learning.

We believe young athletes grow best when they:

  • Feel supported

  • Compete with confidence

  • Learn through experience

  • Build independence over time

Every player develops at a different pace. Rather than comparing players to one another, we focus on consistent effort, coachability, teamwork, and continual growth.

Whether a player is new to baseball or has years of experience, our commitment is the same: to provide positive coaching, meaningful instruction, and an environment where every player has the opportunity to improve and enjoy the game.

Why We Started Renegades

We love baseball, and we believe families shouldn't have to choose between a relaxed recreational experience and the significant commitment that often comes with select baseball.

As youth baseball has evolved, we saw an opportunity to build the kind of recreational program we wished existed—one that takes recreational baseball seriously. A program built on intentional coaching, clear communication, thoughtful organization, meaningful player development, and a positive team culture, while remaining accessible for families.

We're not trying to be a select program. We simply believe families shouldn't have to leave recreational baseball to find intentional coaching, strong communication, thoughtful organization, and a positive team culture. Our goal is to provide a place where players can build confidence, develop skills, and develop a genuine love for the game—wherever their baseball journey leads.
